Join Us For Earth Day!

Earth Day is one of the largest annual environmental events world wide. Each year Earth Day encourages over a billion people accross 193 countries to raise awareness and participate in environmental practices. It is an opportunity for people across the state to clean our creeks, rivers, lakes, coast, and shorelines of all kinds, to help restore our environment. No matter where you're cleaning, you are helping to protect the environment. The cleanup starts April 20th at 9:00am and goes until 11:00am.

The Fisherman's Restaurant is providing complimentary burritos for those registered while supplies last.

Parking at the pier is metered and can fill up quickly. A good alternative is the metered parking off Linda Lane, which is a little North of the pier but only a 5 minute walk to check-in on the North side of the pier.

Who We Are

......

Clear The Pier is organized by The Masons of California. The Freemasons, including lodges listed below, are a part of a worldwide organization that values tradition, history, wisdom. The traditions and core values of our fraternity are meaningful today and will endure for centuries to come because of our direct impact in our community, through our charities, and on a personal level.

We value respect, freedom, kindness, tolerance, and our differences - religious, ethnic, cultural, social, generational, and educational - and strive for harmony in our individual lives, in our lodges, and in the global community.

We take responsibility for the well-being of our members, our families, and our communities. Our philanthropic causes are supported entirely by our members’ generous contributions.

The California Masonic Foundation

The mission of the California Masonic Foundation mirrors that of the Masons of California – to build peace and understanding through friendship, service and self improvement.Through our members’ generous support, we bring the Masonic values of brotherly love, relief, and truth to fruition in communities statewide. Together, we bring hope, guidance, leadership, and financial support to communities throughout California.

The California Masonic Foundation was formed in 1969 with the purpose of furthering the education of young people from kindergarten through college. Today, we provide philanthropic services to all of California’s Masonic charities – from the Masonic Homes to literacy initiatives and other impactful community programs.

One of the youth charity programs the California Masonic Foundation offers is the Masons for Mitts program. Every baseball season, the Masons of California partner with Angels Baseball, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants Major League Baseball (MLB) teams to bring the fun and teambuilding skills of baseball to more California kids. MLB foundations in each region are committed to serving the community and providing a positive outlet for children. Throughout the season, teams of Masonic lodges in each region face off in friendly competition to help the most kids they can, by purchasing baseball mitts for children who participate in programs through the MLB foundations. At the end of the campaign in the fall, our grand master will present a check to each of our four MLB partners.

Now in its 14th year, California Masons have raised more than $1.5 million – 75,000 plus mitts!

The charitable baseball programs offered through the Major League Baseball teams provide sports instruction, a safe place to play, help developing teamwork skills, and guidance on health, nutrition, study skills, and more.

Our Major League Baseball foundation partners include:

Angels Baseball Foundation
Dodgers Foundation
Giants Community Fund
Padres Foundation for Children
